We connect with clients on social media, we like to watch what you're doing and we are proactively looking at you - we're always trying to make sure you get the best out of your cover.
We want to become part of your business acting as your ‘in-house’ insurance department. This gives us greater insight to your business and free’s you up to focus on what you do best.
We are here to support you and having that greater knowledge of your business drives much more transparency allowing us to truly tailor the insurance cover you need.
What else do we do differently?
We believe in a transparent process. We are not here to confuse you with technical insurance words, we are here to translate the policy to you.
We share our marketing presentations with you so that you can see how we have described you to the insurance companies. This gives you the opportunity to have a say in how we communicate YOUR business.
If you are open to it, we will take a video of a short interview with you. This will be an introduction to your business because who else can talk more passionately about your business than you? This video will be shared with prospective insurers so they gain a better feel for you and your company.
We work collaboratively with our clients and insurers and aim to bring you both together during negotiations and claims meetings.

Meet the Team
Donna
I took the step of setting up Squared Insurance Brokers in December 2019. During maternity leave I knew I wanted more flexibility in how I worked to allow me to be available for my children but also provide an excellent service to clients.
In my opinion the insurance industry is missing a trick by not being accommodating of flexible working. With a growing business, I’m delighted to prove it is possible to have a business that raises the professional standards, thinks outside of the box and is open and transparent.
Out with insurance my life is centred around my family. I am married to Mark and have 2 young daughters. I like to keep fit and running keeps me sane (along with the occasional glass of wine).
Laura
I joined Squared after 22 years of Operations & Management in the Medical/Dental insurance world and then a short spell in the Baby Swimming world.
This has been a new venture, and I am learning every day. I feel Donna offer’s the personal touch that is very often missed in insurance and she instils the care of the clients to her team.
Aside from work, I am a proud Mum to my daughter and son. With a large age gap they both keep me very busy in different ways. My family and friends are very important to me and I love to drive to new places, do some walking and have spontaneous little adventures here, there & everywhere, preferably with the occasional gin thrown in at the end of the day.

I had worked in the health insurance industry since 2016, however after returning to work from maternity leave, I had lost a lot of interest and decided that it wasn’t for me anymore.
I have taken a new step in my career to join Squared and it has been so refreshing to join somewhere that I feel valued. I am very keen to learn all about the broker side of insurance and am excited to develop and progress within the industry.
Most of my time outside of work is spent with my daughter, she keeps me on my toes!
Adrian
Adrian has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and has undertaken a number of roles from account executive and account manager to managing a busy insurance brokers office.
Away from work Adrian enjoys spending time with his children and playing sports.
Carol
I have worked in commercial insurance for over 40 years. I love providing my clients with the type of service that I would like to receive myself and being able to explain their covers to them in a way they can understand. I can provide advice and assistance on all sorts on insurances.
In my spare time I enjoy homemaking, wildlife and the countryside. One of my favourite
pastimes is watching a multitude of different birds feeding in my garden.
I am married to Peter and we live in a very small rural village.
Nikki
Nikki’s career spans 15 years in insurance and includes time at a large international broker and a reinsurer. She has worked across a number of disciplines that include account management, claims assessment, medical underwriting, sales, and marketing.
With a young family at home, she wanted to create more flexibility in the way she works, and having spotted a need amongst insurance brokers for experienced, flexible, outsourced support, she founded Insurance Support Solutions Ltd in 2021. Somewhere she can use her experience and knowledge to support brokers in a unique way that is bespoke to their business needs.
