Saving money on your insurance without having to change your policy

Hi, here’s a quick tip to save some money on your insurance without having to change your policies at all.

So typically, brokers earn their money through commission that's built into the insurance premium. But when it's done that way, you pay insurance premium tax on that portion.

I recommend that you ask the broker to strip that out and that will save you 12% on that element of the premium.

Now usually we would see fees being applied to cases that pay maybe £25,000 or more, but really it can be applied to any size of client. So not only would you then save on some premium, but you would also have greater transparency with your broker too.

And if you'd like more information on this, please let me know.
